Meet Jason and Melissa
Meet Jason and Melissa, a couple with childhood roots in farming from Northeast Kansas. Jason's background in dairy and crops, combined with Melissa's family operation in cattle and agriculture, has shaped their passion for local produce. After moving to Lawrence in 2003, they recognized the need for greater access to local farm offerings. Driven by their love for farm life and the desire to share that experience with their children, they made the leap to a larger property. Now, they are committed to connecting their community with quality beef and produce from their farm and their family farms, ensuring that the hard work of local farmers reaches the tables of Lawrence.
